Seven years ago at Easter time we were praying for a miracle. Our son Jacob had his heart surgery on that Easter Sunday.
This year, we were praying for another miracle. We were praying that our daughter Lizy was to remain with us. That miracle wasn’t granted, but in it’s place four wonderful marvelous miracles were.
Because of Liz
2 will receive sight
1 will walk again
and a baby will receive a heart valve needed to survive.
Lizy was one of the most caring and giving young women I have ever known and I am honored to be her mom. She would be happy knowing she has helped SO many. We love you Lizy.
Fun and Flawed 
She was an awesome girl because she had an awesome mom (and dad)!! I wish that you could have been her mom on earth for so much longer, but I am so grateful for eternal families. She is yours and you are hers- forever. You are wonderful and generous and great examples. Although we weep with you, even in your grief, your grace and faith shine through. All our love!

My heart is so heavy for you and your family. We are so grateful for eternal families and I’m sure she is spending Easter with her heavenly father. Prayers continue for your family, especially for the hearts of her five siblings.
I never met Liz, but she is an example to me, even after her moving on. You guys are wonderful parents and are amazingly faithful and stalwart. I can only hope to be like you some day.

It does not surprise me that you are the mother of a celestial child. My heart goes out to you as you go through this experience. My prayers are with you as you help your family and know that the Holy spirit will guide you and you will feel His amazing influence and peace.

Julia, I came home from a very inspirational Easter Sunday at church to read my emails that I had neglected over the weekend. I am so sorry for your loss. It puts all that we talked about today to the test. Yes, Liz lives. Yes, you will see her again. Her good works are not over. They are just beginning. My love and prayers.
