I´m not dead yet!! It´s only a flesh wound!!! 9/16/19

Hey all!!! So sorry that I did not send an email last week, I had Appendix surgery that friday and was not allowed to leave the house on sunday, monday, and tuesday, so I was not able to talk to my family or to send out an email. But I am doing great!!  I have a realy high pain tolerance, so i dont really feel anypain at all right now! I started working on saturday and it was so much fun!!!! It was so nice to be able to leave the house and to start procesliting again! We also had Eloy´s baptism on saturday!!! He was so excited and started crying because of how strong the spirit was!

On sunday I gave a talk about the Plan of Salvation! I prayd about what I needed to share and I felt that I needed to talk about how I gained my testimony of the Plan of Salvation. So I talked about the passing of Elizabeth and how this helped me to gain a testimony of the Plan of Salvation, and then I talked about how having trials is apart of this life because if we do not feel pain, anger, sadness, etc, then we can not feel happiness, peace or joy, because we would not know the difference. It went so well, I was speaking spanish fluently and I was thinking totally in spanish! It was such a cool experience!!

Other than that my week has been prett boring, because I was not allowed to leave the house for almost the entire week. But I learned a lot about patince and I had a lot of time to study the scriptures and to get to know the sisters that I was with. On tuesday I was with a sister in our ward who was so sweet! I had so much fun talking to her in spanish for 4 hours and I understood the entire thing!! Honestly my surgery was a blessing in disguise because it gave me a chance to get to know many familys in the ward a lot better, and I was able to build a good connection with a lot of the familys.

So about two weeks ago I had an amazing experience but I forgot to write about it! So I don´t know how many of you know, but I have been struggling with depression and anxiety for almost 2 months now, I have been taking medication, but I was begining to wonder who I was really helping while I was here and if there really were people here who need to hear from me specifically and the experiences that I had.

Well we had a lesson with Eloy in the house of the bishop and this day I was feeling really anxious and I had no idea why. The Bishops wife asked if I was ok and I explained (in spanish) that I was feeling really anxious but that I would be ok. she asked to  see a photo of my family and when she saw our little picture of elizabeth she asked who she was. I explained that she was my big sister that had passed away when I was 12. She asked how she died and I felt very strongly that I need to tell her more [details] than just that it was an accident at home. I had no idea how to explain it in spanish so I aske my companion to helped me. Eloy started to get tears in his eyes as he told me that his older brother passed away when he was 10, and that he found him.

Our stories were almost exactly the same. I was able to testify of the plan of salvation and promise him that he would see his brother again. The spirirt was so strong and we were both crying. This experience was an answer to my prayers as well as an answer to his prayers.

I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us and that he needs us exactly where we are!! I testify that the Lord listens to your prayers and that he will answer your prayers it may not be the way that you want or expect it or in the time that you want it. Heavenly Father loves you each so much and he knows you individualy! I testify that the savior knows you perfectly and that he has felt all of your pains and trials. I testify of these things in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, Amen!!

I love you all so very much and I invit you to read Alma 32 in the Book of Mormon! I love this chapter and it spoke to me this week as I realized that the trials that I am going through now, is helping me to strengthen my testimony!! Byeeeeeeeeee!!!!
